Forged fittings
Forged fittings, socket-weld fittings and forging blanks
- Common sizes kept in stock; stock orders ship the same day
- Carbon, low-alloy, stainless, duplex and alloy steel; see the materials table

Forged fittings are machined from forgings. They have heavy walls and high strength, and are used mostly on small-bore, high-pressure lines with socket-weld or threaded connections.
We make forged fittings as well as forging blanks for flanges and fittings. Socket-weld fittings are in the approved scope of our China Petrochemical Materials and Equipment Network qualification.

Questions
Forged or butt-weld fittings: which should I use?
Butt-weld fittings suit medium and large bores with butt-welded joints. Forged fittings are used mostly for small bores, high pressure, or where socket-weld or threaded joints are needed. Follow your design code.
Can I buy forging blanks only?
Yes. Forging blanks for flanges and fittings can be quoted on their own. Send the drawing or dimensions, material and quantity.
